The information & technology unit provides technology direction and services.  The director is also responsible for all technology and central office services.  In addition, the director has responsibility for special projects as assigned by executive staff, such as prison population forecasting.

Responsible for the department’s research and evaluation projects as well as components of CriMNet, including the Statewide Supervision System (S3), which provides criminal justice professionals with offender probation and incarceration information. This unit also coordinates application support, application project testing and training, and provides information and statistics to staff and stakeholders.
